Ottawa Landlords Renovict Now Begore It's Too Late!!!

With council’s 20-5 vote on Wednesday, Ottawa is finally on its way to protecting tenants from renovictions that have often left vulnerable, low-income tenants staring at homelessness.

Renovictions have been on the rise in Ottawa, as tenants are thrown out under the guise of repairs and renovations, only to find their apartments rented to others for much higher rents.

In the past, previous councils have simply shrugged their shoulders, claiming there was very little they could do.
