Why are Ontario Big Rich Corporate Landlords So Meek, Weak and Powerless??!!

As a new small landlord with one unit I'm shocked the more I learn how unfair the rules are!
Where are the corporate landlords? They must be making a huge money and huge appreciation so I guess they don't care about the rules because they are an oligopoly?
It just doesn't smell right because in other cities the big time landlords have a lot of power.
WTF is going on in Ontario where a plumber renting his basement for $700/month makes more noise at the OLA than a billion dollar big building corporate landlord!?!?!?!/!
